Learning to recognize how and when your thinking gets in your way will make a big difference in achieving whatever matters to you most.
You are the sum of your life experiences. They may have served you well so far, but will they get you where you want to go in the future?
Your life can be better! We’ll show you how to make simple shifts in your thinking that will lead you to living a richer life.
Can you Bridge the Gap?
That is...bridging the gap between what you think and what actually is? Living a richer life doesn’t happen by accident. If you want to “make things better,” you need to learn to intentionally make choices and take actions that lead to creating more “goodness” and a better quality of life.
"Living a Richer Life is filled with life changing value. I now pause, asking myself often, what will bring greater value to this situation? These brief suspensions in time have changed me as a leader, and changed my relationships with my staff and my spouse in a positive manner. I smile more. I take more time to listen. This book is relatively small, but mighty in its message!"
Kathryn Schaefer, MSN, RN

“The timing of Living a Richer Life is perfect. This easy read offers a fresh approach to focusing your thoughts in a way that helps eliminate your own personal biases. I found the “If you find yourself thinking” statements particularly helpful. They are a great cue to step back and evaluate how your thoughts are impacting your choices and actions. The personal stories are not only relatable, and enlightening, they also provide concrete examples of how directing thoughts to answer The Central Question can significantly impact the value of the end result.”

About The Authors
Harvey Schoof & Kristin Clark
How we think about our circumstances, whether good or bad, shapes the choices we make. Sometimes the slightest shift in our thinking, can make a big difference in how we experience life. In fact, it can even be life changing.
Daughter: “This professor’s expectations are ridiculous. Does he think this is our only class? I’ll never be able to get an “A”.
Dad: “Do you think a “B” might serve you better?”
This is me (Kristin) the semester before college graduation, and that is my dad (Harvey).
Until my dad asked me that question, I’d never considered getting a “B” on purpose. This simple shift in my thinking, changed my perspective on life. For the first time, I realized I had a choice.
Over the next 25 years, my dad studied and adapted the work of Robert S. Hartman’s Value Science, and developed tools to help his clients recognize how they think, and how their thinking impacts their effectiveness, ability to lead, relationships, happiness, and the quality of their lives.
We hope this book will help you recognize that there are many different, and often better ways of thinking that can lead you to greater balance, real success and a richer life.
